GPS tracker trouble shooting
1. Sim card specification:
(1) Check the sim card if it support 2G GSM network
(2) The sim card should be with 2G GPRS data and not out of credit
(3) Sim card should be voice + data, and with caller ID display function
(4) The sim card can't be with pin code
(5) Pre-paid GPRS package monthly, no less than 25-30MB/month, it also depends on the
operation times.
2. If on app always show device offline, then what need to do?
(1) check the sim card if have 2G GPRS data
(2) Check the sim card if it is out of credit or without gprs data
(3) Check if the network is very weak
(4) Use your mobile to send an SMS command: pw,123456,ts# and check the message reply, in the parameter if you see GPRS(OK), then the network is ok, if GPRS (NO), then you need check the sim card if has problem (see above (1) (2) (3)
If GPRS (OK), then check the IMEI number if it is same as the watch back cover, if not the same, then use your mobile phone number to send the SMS command: pw,123456,imei,xxxxxxxxxxxxx#(note xxxxxxxxxxxxx please put the IMEI number on the watch back cover.)
If still GPRS(NO), then please check with your local sim card operator to get the sim card apn information (including APN name, MCC# and MNC#), then use your mobile phone to send the SMS command(pw,123456,apn,apn name,,,MCCMNC#) to set APN local setting.
3. When you call the device, but rejected or busy (on the line)
(1) check the watch sim card if have caller ID display function
(2) check the number if it is not set in app phone book or set as SOS number
(3)Check if set the non-disturb time period, during the time period, it's not ok to call in
(4) Check the SIM card if pre-set in the Leave message OR Voice message model
4. Why the device can accept all the incoming call?
Because if you set any one phone number in the app, then other numbers (not set in the app) can't call in.
5. What is LBS location?
Indoor use LBS position, outdoor use GPS position, you can take the device go outside in the open area to activate GPS, that will be much more accurate. If the watch long time not moved (in the same place), the app will have no update time for position that is to save the power model, if you want see the update time position, you can move the device or shake the device to activate it, then press the Locate (on the APP page bottom) to sync the active map location
6. How to set the watch time and date?
(1) After inserted the sim card, take the watch outside, GPS will auto sync the active time
(2)Set the time in app (Setting - Language and Time zone), choose the correct time zone is ok
(3) Use your mobile phone to send the SMS command: pw,123456,time,hour.minute.second,date,year.month.date#
(for example: pw,123456,time,15.32.23,date,2017.9.29#)

1. First, remove the grease from the watch display using the alcohol cloth provided.
2. Remove the protective film from the glass.
3. Stick the glass aligned to the corners and other elements of the display.
Bubbles may appear after sticking. Try to remove them by pushing the air towards the edge. If this does not work, lift the glass very carefully (with a fingernail or toothpick) to avoid damaging the adhesive film on the underside of the glass and push the bubbles towards the edge.
Your display is now protected.

SOS panic button working method
All our GPS trackers with SOS panic button are okay to set 3 SOS numbers in the phone app.

SOS working method is: once user press GPS SOS panic button in emergency situation, the device will auto dial SOS bound 3 phone numbers in app in 2 rounds then hang up until any SOS number pick up ;during the call, if any SOS number pick up, it will not call other SOS number anymore. If none SOS number pick up, it will hang-up till 2 rounds dial. Meanwhile send SOS SMS alerts with Google map GPS position URL and syncs the SOS notification to server end and app end; GPS get the position from satellites (outdoor), or get position from (Indoor) LBS or WIFI, syncs the data to server , server syncs the data to phone app ,GPS is mini phone system, work with phone app for voice call, intercom chatting and video call if firmware support (4G), this is phone to phone working method, if the sim card in the GPS is available for international roaming, then GPS is ok for global monitoring. All working features in the app.
(if the first SOS number does not pick up, the GPS will call the next SOS number, please kindly note this depends on your local operator setting. Similar the time is equivalent to you calling someone's phone. How long does it take for someone else to hang up your call, the time is similar)
Please kindly note if any SOS number sim is pre-set to go to voice mail, please kindly remove it with your sim operator.

Why GPS tracker needs a sim card?
-- GPS device is a mini Featured phone system, just without the keyboard. GPS device system consist of mini phone system + GPS mode + WIFI mode. GPS device work with smart phone app and cloud server, all GPRS communications via. Sim card through operator cellular network. It's available for global real time and real Google map tracking if the sim is available for international roaming. GPS work with smart phone app is phone to phone.
-- Any GPS tracker has a receiver to triangulate its own position from the satellite signals. All the GPS trackers need a SIM card in order to achieve connectivity. SIM cards are what allow location transmission, sending audio data, and receiving commands to turn on audio and other advanced features. Exact positioning and accuracy of tracker on mobile app maps can vary slightly due to satellite positioning or interferences.
Sim card specifications:
1) If the GPS device is 2G system, it need 2G/GSM compatible SIM (it's ok for 4G/5G SIM card, but check with your SIM card operator, and ensure the 4G/5G SIM card is fully compatible with 2G/GSM network, also activate GSM GPRS pre-paid monthly plan)
2) 2G/GSM frequency bands: 800/850/1800/1900MHZ
3) Activate GSM GPRS Flew package monthly, no less than 25-30MB/month
4) If GPS device is 4G system, just use the 4G Nano sim card , VOLTE sim valid voice + SMS + GPRS
5) Available for international roaming if necessary
6) Without PIN code, nor voice mail
7) Voice + SMS + GPRS SIM card
8) Please kindly get the APN, MCC and MNC code from your SIM card/phone operator, because later on you need the correct APN information for local setting.

App map positioning
*Please kindly note after adding a device in the app, you will need to logout and login the app again to refresh the app features, because our app detects the device firmware for the corresponding features of each item.
*For the first time using GPS device, if you test the device and the position is not accurate, please kindly try to restart it outdoor to get the GPS map position in app, it will syncs the satellites with local coordinates (latitude and longitude) in app Google map position, this should be also help the indoor positions more accuracy. Please kindly ensure you test GPS outdoors and get the GPS position first, if not you will need to take the tracker outdoors and restart it to get the GPS position first.
GPS device position data information:
1) Indoor: GPS device gets the map location from Local Base Station or WIFI hotspots (if indoor available WIFI routers or hotspots). The device WIFI mode is auto detection WIFI hotspots, it's not necessary to enter the WIFI network password, it gets the map location from WIFI database.
2) Outdoor: GPS device gets the position data from GPS satellites (GPS, Glonass, Galileo, BDS all compatible)
*LBS map location accuracy is 100 - 500 meters or more, it's depends on the local network base stations quantities surroundings, the map location pin in the google map is blue color.

*WIFI map location accuracy is 20 - 30 meters, the pin in google map is green color.
*For outdoor, GPS map location data comes from satellites, the accuracy is less than 2 - 5 meters, the pin dot in the google map is red color.
The pin dot colors are defined global colors and cannot be changed.
GPS with SIM card is a phone system + GPS mode + WIFI mode, it work with phone app is phone to phone, machine to machine.
All our GPS communication with amazon socket server is GRPS communication, it’s TCP/IP communication.
GPS device IMEI is registered on server end, server just identifies the GPS per device ID number. The IMEI is 15 numbers, the device ID number is 10 numbers, and comes from the IMEI number. (Please refer to below an example to understand how the ID number comes from the IMEI number）

About locating the device:
​
The position is determined by orientation. Position finding is always limited by the local signal and the size of the receivers in the equipment. Note that the size of the device is designed to be hand-held and much of the device is held by the battery. Thus, the receivers are generally weaker than in phones. This is a physical feature of the device and is not a defect of the device.

GPS - primarily using GPS - most accurate, on the order of meters, outdoors.

Wifi - out of GPS range, in enclosed spaces (buildings, shadows of large buildings) out of range of surrounding Wifi - with error from units to hundred of meters.

LBS - out of GPS and Wifi range, in enclosed areas without Wifi signal using mobile operators' transmitters - with error from 100m to several km. This positioning can be switched off to avoid unnecessary scare in case of a few kilometres error.

If you wear a watch on your wrist and move around with it, there is a good chance that even in buildings you will pick up an accurate location at least via the Wifi network if no GPS signal is available.

If the watch wearer's location seems suspicious for an extended period of time, call the watch wearer to verify that all is well.
